The old loop
- Alert lands. Tap through to X. Wait for the app to load the thread.
- Copy the draft, paste it, lose the cursor, fix the formatting.
- Get sucked into the timeline. Surface forty minutes later.
- Six alerts still unread, and the threads have gone cold.
The deck
- Build a deck. Around twenty cards, ranked against your profile, reply already written.
- Read it in four seconds. Tweak a word if you want to.
- Right swipe drops you into the X reply box with the draft already in it.
- Left swipe and it's gone. Deck empty in ninety seconds, back to building.

We stack the deck
You ask for a deck; Ding Dong searches X, drops the unusable, ranks what is left against your profile, and writes a reply for each card.

You swipe
Right opens X with the reply loaded. Left nopes it. Up does both — opens X and asks for more threads like it.

The ones you send become examples for the next deck, so the writing drifts toward how you actually sound.

Ding Dong never posts. You do.
- No X login, no OAuth. There is no connection that could post on your behalf, even by accident.
- Right swipe is a handoff. It opens the X reply box with your draft loaded — the post button is X's, and it's yours to press.
- Nothing is queued or scheduled. A card you didn't swipe simply expires with the deck.
- Undo any swipe before you leave the deck, including the ones you noped.

Does swiping right post for me?
No. A right swipe opens X on the reply box for that thread with your draft already in it. You read it one last time and press post — the same as the current Ding Dong, minus the copy and paste.
Will X ban me for this?
No X login, no OAuth, no automation touching your account. Ding Dong reads public conversations and hands you a link. Every post is you, typing in X.
What if I swipe wrong?
Undo puts the card straight back on top of the deck, whichever way you swiped it. And a right swipe only opens X — nothing is public until you press post there.
What does swiping up do?
The same handoff to X as a right swipe, plus a stronger mark on the reply: this is the kind of thing worth learning from. It carries more weight than an ordinary post when Ding Dong picks examples for the next deck.
Can I edit the reply first?
Tap the reply on the card and type. Character count updates live against the 220 limit. Whatever is on the card when you swipe is what X opens with.
Isn't this just reply-guy spam with a nicer gesture?
The deck is capped, not infinite. Ding Dong drops what is mechanically unusable, then ranks the rest against your profile and keeps the better half. Thin results mean a short deck — you can swipe right on all of it and still not be a nuisance.
How many cards will I get?
A deck is around twenty cards. Five decks a day during beta. Most decks come in under that: Ding Dong would rather hand you fewer cards than pad them out with threads that are not worth your reply.
How do I know when there is something to reply to?
You build a deck when you want one. If you skip a day we can send one email with what's left — off from Settings, never more than daily, and never a queue of stale threads. No thread goes stale waiting for you to notice it — the deck is searched and written the moment you ask for it.
